What the mute Gelya from the “SV-show” with Andrei Danilko looks like and who she became. Television shows that will forever remain in our hearts

The success story of the most original pop singer, as well as a participant in the annual show DISCO DACHA 2012 - Verka Serduchka right now.

Andrey Danilko was born in 1973 into a simple working-class family. His father was a driver, and his mother worked as a painter. The Danilko family lived in a small room in a barracks with amenities on the street. Later Andrey moved to the capital of Ukraine. Back then, nothing foreshadowed a stellar career. Perhaps it was persistence that the young man had to spare. School team KVN, whose captain was Andrey, always won competitions! Since 1983, the future star began playing in the school theater-studio “Grotesques”. In many ways, his interests in life were determined by the leader of this team, director Anatoly Triguba. It was on his advice that after school Danilko tried to enroll in music school and a pedagogical institute. But it didn't work out. Therefore, he studied at a vocational school for one year to become a cashier-seller. In 1989, the Grotesque Theater collapsed, and Andrei had to begin independent creativity. By the way, Danilko received his first monetary fee for a performance back in the 8th grade. Then he studied at art school. Andrey was asked to speak at cultural institution, at an evening where, as they would say now, VIPs were present. And for his performance he was paid as much as 5 rubles! For a child this was a huge amount at that time. At first he didn’t even want to take this income. But then he agreed. And with this money I bought 2 records by Alla Pugacheva.

After graduating from school, Andrei tried to enter a music school. The attempt was unsuccessful. The teachers came to the conclusion that he looked bad on stage. That same year, not giving up hope of becoming a student, Andrei passed the entrance exams to the Pedagogical Institute, but failed Ukrainian literature. After another failure, the future artist went to a vocational school, where he studied as a cashier-seller of food products. For the next two years, Andrei worked by profession in the field of trade, while simultaneously performing with his troupe. Singer Svetlana Lazareva believes that it was his uncanny humor and the ability to laugh at himself that helped him win the trust of the public!

“I think he did the right thing by coming up with such an original character, funny, with such subtle humor. I wasn't afraid to laugh at myself. Because he did it with talent, grace and correctly, he received popularity, respect and good dividends in his time. In general, he is a talented guy, I treat him very well and wish him creative success.”

In 1990, the brightest character, who had no analogues, appeared on the stage - conductor Verka Serduchka. Andrey’s stage name was born back in school years. He promised his excellent student girlfriend Anya Serdyuk that he would glorify her name throughout the country. And so it happened, only instead of a serious surname, Andrei took her cheerful nickname. At the beginning of his career, Danilko often called Anya onto the stage at concerts so that the audience could see that Verka and the prototype were not at all alike. Andrey still keeps in touch with Anya. It is also symbolic that Andrei’s debut in this image took place at humorin in Poltava on April 1 - April Fool’s Day. The bright appearance of Verka Serduchka created a sensation, and in the same year the artist went to his first tour in the Stavropol Territory.

Over time, the artist still received vocational education. In 1995, he entered the variety and circus school in the conversation department. Then he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture. But that was later. Five years before receiving his diploma, Andrei Danilko created his own theater.

Fame came to Andrei in 1991 precisely thanks to flashy outfits, outright jokes and a headdress with a star! But singer Svetlana Lazareva remembers him at the very beginning of his career, when the aspiring artist Danilko tried himself as a vocalist of the Freestyle group.

“I’ve known him since he was a very young boy. I came to the Freestyle group, I recorded songs there with Anatoly Rozanov with the leader of Freestyle. Mr. Danilko came, he was a very young boy who dreamed of singing in this group.”

In addition to the sociable and talkative flight attendant, the artist created many other characters. He performed in the guise of a policeman, a teacher, a soldier, and a ballerina. With his theater, Andrei Danilko traveled to many cities in Russia and Ukraine.

Since 1993, the name “Verka Serduchka” officially became Andrei’s stage name. The Ukrainian TV channel aired the program “SV-show”, where the presenter acted as a conductor of a sleeping car. This plump woman with wide figures, a sharp voice and rude manners became a star and more than once made her guests blush. Those who were lucky enough to work or simply communicate with the artist in person were struck by the gap between the character of Andrei himself and his prototype. Friends and colleagues noted and constantly emphasized Danilko’s natural modesty, while Serduchka is a woman with absolutely no complexes. The secret of transformation turned out to be very simple. Andrei has repeatedly emphasized that in the image of Verka, it is easier for him to be himself, he seems to take off his excessive shyness and, under the guise of a boorish, confident woman, he can say what in a different situation he would only think. What gives Verka a special charm is that she speaks Surzhik - an improvised intricacy of the Russian language using Ukrainian words. Perhaps it was this nuance that became the reason for the undoubted popularity of the image of Verka Serduchka! Singer Yuri Loza shared his memories of the meeting in Andrei Danilko’s program.

“He himself, Andrei, is a fairly intelligent guy, we communicated well, and what’s more, I was on his show. And he doesn't give the impression of a man who gained his popularity by accident. He calculated everything perfectly, the matter was planned. Therefore, honor and praise to him - he managed to earn a certain amount of dividends on this image.”

Already in the early 2000s, Danilko expanded his acting and humorous activities, occupying a singing niche on the stage. Verka Serduchka began performing pop music. Initially, Andrei was invited to participate in “New Year’s Lights” on Channel One. And having played a role in the musical “Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka,” he firmly won over the Russian public. By the way, at the same time Andrei won the Arkady Raikin Cup at the “Cup of Humor” festival. His popularity left no one indifferent, including his colleagues in the pop industry. Many artists sang duets with him. And others have repeatedly noted the professionalism of his performances, including singer Yulia Mikhalchik.

“I can talk a lot about Danilko and his image of Verka Serduchka, because I really like his work. And this is always with such a certain grotesqueness. I like the songs and the image is wonderful, everything was thought out simply amazing. He's a great producer, I can tell you that. I would love to record a duet with Verka Serduchka. If I get this opportunity, I will be very happy.”

This popularity allowed Andrei Danilko to release several albums, the compositions of which became hits and brought various awards. By the way, at the beginning of his career the performer did not even think about writing songs. But one day after the concert a girl came up to him and asked him to write a hit about an apricot. Andrey was surprised: why about apricot? But I went and composed it. Since then, Verka Serduchka began to sing. In addition, the artist shot several video clips that were successfully broadcast on music channels. The image of Serduchka was still played out in the lyrics and videos. With this, the talented actor-parodist not only gained wide fame, but also achieved commercial success. Singer Rodion Gazmanov considers “Verka Serduchka” a well-thought-out and well-executed creative project.

“I really respect Andrey Danilko for what he created successful project. There are two points here: as a listener and as a musician, I can applaud and wish him further success, because he made a product that is in massive demand.”

Over the years creative career Andrei Danilko, of all his images, it was the cheerful Conductor who came to the fore and won millions of fans. At the end of 2003, Verka Serduchka received a “Diamond Disc” for selling 500,000 copies of the album “Ha-ra-sho”. The album was recorded in record time - two weeks. The record's producer, Yuri Nikitin, noted then that he had never met a more hardworking person than Danilko. The next album, “Chita Drita,” experienced the same success. All this time, the artist successfully toured and participated in highly rated television projects. He was already a recognized star of Ukrainian and Russian show business.

Andrey himself for a long time considered “Serduchka” an absolutely ordinary character, no better or worse than others. An ordinary miniature in which he depicted a conductor, in theater group"Compote". He himself doesn’t understand why the public liked it all so much. But it would be dishonest to explain Andrei’s success only by luck. First of all, these heights were achieved through colossal efficiency and a responsible attitude to work. These are the qualities that all the artists who worked with him note in Danilko. For example, Pronya Prokopovna from the musical “Chasing Two Hares,” shown on Channel One on New Year’s Day 2004, Andrei rehearsed for 20 years! He played her in a school theater play. From the very beginning, “Chasing Two Hares” was invented with Danilko in mind. This was the main condition of the film’s director, Maxim Papernik, with whom Andrei was then friends and had been working for more than five years.

Despite the image of “Verka Serduchka” that became famous for him more than 20 years ago, Andrei Danilko was and remains a versatile artist. In 2005, he released the album “After You...”, in which he published 9 compositions for piano, written independently, also demonstrating his talent as a composer.

A new turn in creativity occurred in 2007, when Verka Serduchka won the Ukrainian national qualifying competition for Eurovision 2007 with the song “Dancing Lasha Tumbai”. Despite the composition's confident victory in the audience vote, many public figures and organizations in Ukraine and Russia expressed mixed opinions about sending Serduchka to international competition, associating the artist’s creativity with clownery. However, Danilko still performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki and took second place there. At home, the artist was greeted as a hero. Singer Yuri Loza shared his thoughts on popularizing the image of Verka Serduchka.

“At all times, the easiest way to make people laugh was to dress in someone else’s dress. Men in women’s dresses have always wandered from one theater stage to another.”

Since the fall of 2008, “The Verka Serduchka Show” has become a weekly feature on the Ukraine TV channel. In the same year, President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko awarded Andrey Danilko the title people's artist Ukraine "for a significant personal contribution to cultural development of the Ukrainian state, significant labor achievements and on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.”

Andrey still has many fans; for more than twenty years of his career, viewers almost no longer share the personality of the actor and the image of the conductor Verka Serduchka he created. The artist has a dozen released albums and roles in more than 10 films. And Danilko is not going to stop there! Now Verka Serduchka is perhaps the most charismatic character on the Russian stage. She is a welcome guest at concert venues, corporate events, and on television shows, and one can only envy the number of doubles of Andrei Danilko’s character. All this is indisputable evidence of audience recognition!

This year, Verka will once again become the long-awaited host of the grand annual show DISCO DACHA 2012, which will take place on April 21 in Moscow and May 17 in St. Petersburg!

Genre: TV show

“SV-Show” started on domestic television back in 1997. In the late 90s - early 2000s, on our television you could see the program “SV-show” with the funny, talkative Verka Serduchka and the stupid, mute Gelya. In 2004, the show disappeared from the air, and if Andrei Danilko never disappeared from the screens, then practically nothing was known about the fate of Radmila Shchegoleva, who played the role of Geli.

Radmila Shchegoleva bears little resemblance to her screen image. She is serious, reserved and very beautiful woman. You won’t see that “mumble” from the program in her; the actress has a strong character and strong convictions, which she adheres to all her life.

After the program ended, a lot was said about Gel. They called her both a traitor who let down the entire team and an unnecessary person. She spoke about what really happened only years later.

Radmila claims that at one point she simply realized that she needed to move on. She warned Andrei Danilko about her intention in advance, and he agreed with this. Shchegoleva says that Verka found her niche, but Gel did not, so she had to find herself.

She went on concert tours for some time, but she wanted to try herself in some serious role. At that time, a humorous image had already stuck to her, so the offers poured in exclusively for entertainment purposes.

It is not known how long the collaboration with Danilko would have lasted, but an unforeseen situation arose. Shchegoleva was misdiagnosed and underwent what turned out to be an unnecessary operation. The woman felt worse and worse every day, but did not want to let the team down. It got to the point where she simply couldn’t go on stage.

Hellish pain and high fever did not allow her to perform anymore. Andrei's director decided to send Radmila home. And so this famous creative union ended.

She spent almost the entire next year in a hospital bed, and headlines about her betrayal appeared one after another in the newspapers, although Danilko himself did not say a single crooked word in her direction. But the woman had no time for the yellow pages - she thought only about the illness that deprived her of strength.

Having overcome the illness, she was in no hurry to return to the stage. Together with her friends she opened recruitment agency, which was engaged in personnel selection for various companies.

From time to time she received offers from the world of theater and cinema, but not every one she liked. Only after some time did she realize that she was ready for new filming.

Many of her roles were episodic, and most of her films were unsuccessful. But Radmila did not despair and continued acting. She devoted three years to the film “Dau,” which, after some problems, should appear on screens in 2018. Who knows, maybe her finest hour has come?

Radmila has grandiose plans, both creative and personal. She admitted that she dreams of having the kind of relationship that her grandparents had.

We can only wish that it can be realized in all areas!

How much time has passed and water has flown under the bridge, and when we say “that was ten years ago,” for some reason we remember not 2008-2010, but the distant 90s. Almost every television program that was filmed then is now perceived as a guilty pleasure. You can’t really talk about it out loud, you can’t watch it in the company of friends, but sometimes you want to indulge in nostalgia. We have prepared for you a selection of the best entertainment shows of the past era that will forever remain in our hearts.

SV-show

The legendary program with its constant presenters Verka Serduchka and Gelya, who hardly speaks. The idea of the program is that the guest star communicates with the presenters on a stage stylized as a sleeping car. The first guest in Verka Serduchka's SV carriage was Mykola Veresen. But be that as it may, no matter what guests come, the entire show rests on the host’s improvisation.

Mask show

A humorous television series produced by the Odessa comedy troupe “Masks” in the style of silent films. Author and artistic director project is Georgy Deliev. The program had dozens of different plots and stories, but everyone always had the image of Evelina Bledans in the role of a nurse in their hearts.

Weak link

A television game similar to the British show The Weakest Link. A special feature of the program is the elimination of one of the players at the end of each game round based on the results of voting by everyone else. "You are the most weak link. Farewell!" - a legendary phrase that we still use today, despite the fact that the program is almost twenty years old.

Star Factory

Ukrainian television project and part-time reality show. What interested us most in this program was not how the participants would perform songs on final concert, and how they spend their leisure time in a closed space. Diaries that contained all the behind-the-scenes life. Preparing for concerts, cooking, relationships, quarrels, scandals, intrigues, investigations.

Sasha and Sirozha

Going to bed one of the music channels launched the “Sasha and Sirozha” program. Who these guys are has always remained a mystery. Later it turned out that this is a creative duet of artist Alexei Khatskevich and musician Sergei Mikhalok (BRUTTO). Basically, the program was of an entertaining nature, although its meaning has not yet been discovered, but the motive is memorable.

Town

“Oh, how I want to go back, oh, how I want to break into the town...” Previously, these lines seemed like a boring introduction to entertaining sketches. But time goes by, and now great value It is the song that represents, and not these awkward sketches of two talented artists.

Kunstkamera

An entertainment program that was created based on original idea Columbia company. The show uses video footage of incredible stories and unusual experiments. It’s hard to answer what I liked more about the program: how these stories coexist in one world or how Valery Saraula hosts the program.

Windows

Best talk show ever. In productions of a scandalous nature, various life situations and conflicts, often involving the use of profanity (replaced by a sound similar to a squeak or beep), often leading to fights and brawls. And the main cherry on the cake remains the summing up phrases of the presenter Dmitry Nagiyev.

Love at first sight

The first psychological game show that revolves around romantic relationships. The program is based on the British game Love at First Sight. How many couples have been born with the help of a few simple questions about compatibility! One way or another, the participants made their choice based on the external characteristics of a potential lover, and not on the basis of education, for example.

Guess the melody

The hardest thing about this game is sitting at home and guessing faster than the participants. From the very first notes it is clear what kind of song this is - either “Oh, Mom, I’ll give you some chic!”, or “Little Country”. Like “Karaoke on the Maidan”, the program exists to this day, and its constant host remains Valdis Pelsh, who knows the songs of the world.

My own director

“I always take a video camera with me” - the legendary words that have become catchphrase for all ages. Even when you see it, you can’t just read it; you immediately start humming it. The program is based on the demonstration of amateur videos: from funny cats to ridiculous situations at a wedding. After this program, it immediately becomes clear that people are fine with self-irony.

Who wants to become a millionaire?

An entertainment program similar to the original English television quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? A TV game in which each participant can earn a million by answering 15 questions from various fields of knowledge.

Fort Boyar

The first associations that arise when you mention this program are musical accompaniment and dwarfs. A popular adventure TV show set in the Bay of Biscay, off the coast of Charente-Maritime, in Fort Bayard. As in any program, the main thing is to solve all the riddles, come first and take as much money as possible.

Housing issue

Everyone who watched the program definitely thought about the question: “I wonder if they pay for the repairs or not?” This question remains open, despite the fact that the program exists to this day. During this time a lot happy people got a new living room, kitchen and children's room with bunk beds. But there were other cases.

The Last Hero

A reality show that is more reminiscent of the “Shalena Drying” program, because at the end of the episode the characters change radically. A kind of "Survivor". It was interesting, of course, to look at the stars of the first echelon who could not light a fire with stones or stand on one leg. But the worst thing about the program is the secret vote. You never know who will vote against you.

Weevil show

A humorous program, one of characteristic features which was that each of the actors played several different roles in it. The content of most sketches is a parody of typical entertainment television programs. All participants in the show were decorated unnaturally long noses, hence the name.

The smartest

“Look how well-read and smart the kids are,” parents said to their children while watching it together. A program that made many young viewers feel complex and which showed the world the fast-talking Tina Kandelaki.

Karaoke on Maidan

One of the highest rated shows in Ukraine, which has existed for more than ten years. The leader and co-author of the project is Igor Kondratyuk. Once upon a time, winning this program was the first step to moving to Chance, and the consolation prize was a hat with money. Now it’s the other way around: the winner gets money, the loser gets chicken eggs.

Chance

The heroes who won “Karaoke on the Maidan” went to “Chance”, where stylists, makeup artists and producers worked on them for one day. At the end of the day, each of the participants in a new stage image must perform a song on stage. By the way, the Quest Pistols ballet performed a song for the first time on this stage for fun, after which they began their musical career.

Pun

An entertaining television program about the most ridiculous and impossible situations. You could even say about some parallel reality. Top categories- “Steep Pike”, “Village of Fools” and “Iron Kaput”. And the music from these sketches has settled so deeply in our hearts that now we can guess every melody from the first notes.

Field of Miracles

The first capital show in which participants guess words spelled or completely to win main prize- AUTOMOBILE. Or, if you don’t win, then say hello to your loved ones and give gifts to the constant presenter Leonid Yakubovich.
