The idea of ​​creating a female pop group, different from other similar pop projects, came to the mind of a participant in the second “Star Factory”, curated by Fadeev. As the producer himself admitted in an interview, it was initially planned that the group would be focused on the Asian music market.

The first line-up was formed by 2006. First, Temnikova invited a backing vocalist to the group, who at that time was working with another student of Fadeev. Initially, the Serebro team was planned as an English-language group for China, Japan and some other Asian countries.
