In 2001 at Russian stage The group "Smash!!" was formed, whose members were Sergey Lazarev and Vlad Topalov. Although the group existed for only 3 years, it gained great popularity, and many still remember the collaboration of the musicians.

Although Lazarev and Topalov no longer work together, they met yesterday at the opening of Sergei's store. The men took several photographs together, and on his Instagram, Topalov wished his colleague every success, admiring his performance.

But Vlad himself did not evoke admiration from the public. Although he is two whole years younger than Lazarev, he looks much older. Once fans of the group Smash!! it didn’t work out, because now Topalov barely resembles who he was 15 years ago.

“Somehow Topalov doesn’t look great next to Lazarev”

“Topalov has aged terribly!”

“Lazarev simply doesn’t drink or take anything, but goes in for sports. 34 is not the age to look like a grandpa.”

"Sergey, as always, is stylish, well-groomed, smart! But Vlad... what's wrong with his face? ((With his money, he looks like that..."

"Topalov loses next to Lazarev"

"Topalov is so old"

"God, what happened to him?"

Lazarev thanked the guests of the store opening event for their support, but did not say anything specific about his former “groupmate.”

And yesterday the program “Secret for a Million” went on air with presenter Lera Kudryavtseva, on the air of which. It is this, according to Internet users, that is the reason for his depressing appearance.

Vladislav Mikhailovich Topalov - Russian singer, actor, ex-soloist of the group “Smash!!”.

Vlad Topalov was born in Moscow on October 25, 1985. Father - Mikhail Genrikhovich Topalov, musician, businessman, producer. Mother - Topalova Tatyana Anatolyevna, historian.

Vlad has been involved in music since childhood, because music in their family, one might say, was passed down through the genes. Vlad's great-great-grandfather was a professor at the Conservatory in Kyiv, in addition, he was the godson of Rimsky-Korsakov himself, as well as the brother of the composer Grechaninov. Also among Topalov’s relatives is great Sergei Rachmaninov, therefore common features Vlada and Rachmaninov are not an accident at all. Vlad’s father is also a musician, he even played in rock bands, “The Fourth Dimension” is one of them.

In 1990, little Vlad, at 5.5 years old, was sent to the Fidgets children's group. The boy’s mother brought him to the ensemble, but not to make him a star, just so that the boy could learn to communicate with his peers. At that time, Vlad was a real beech: he was not friends with anyone, constantly fought with everyone, beat his younger sister. The children's group had to remake the little robber. And no one could have thought then that this decision would become fateful for Vlad in the future.

Vlad sang in “Fidgets” with his younger sister Alina. For duets, he had a constant partner - Yulya Malinovskaya, who is now the host of the music television competition "Morning Star". Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova, future soloists of the Tatu group, also performed with them in the team. For ten years, Vlad, as a member of the Fidgets group, managed to travel all over the world, take part in many music festivals: in Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Norway, and also won children's music competitions: "Bravo Bravissimo", "Morning Star".

Since 1994, Vlad Topalov has been studying at college in England, but he does not give up Fidgets, he comes every vacation and performs with them. And since he was the permanent soloist, after his departure Seryozha Lazarev, who was 2 years older than Vlad, was taken into the group.

1997, Topalov returns from England forever and enters Moscow school No. 1234 with in-depth study of foreign languages, from which he will graduate in 2002.

In 2000, Vlad’s father, Mikhail Topalov, invited his friend to record all their songs in new arrangements for the 10th anniversary of “Fidget” and release a gift anniversary disc. Vlad, in turn, for his father’s approaching fortieth birthday, also decided to make a gift with his friend from the ensemble, Sergei Lazarev. They jointly recorded the ballad “Belle” from the musical “Notre Dame de Paris”, of which Topalov Sr. was a passionate fan. By chance, this recording was heard by David Junk, director of Universal Music Russia, who decided that the guys should definitely sing a duet on stage. So this recording became fateful for two guys, former “Fidgets”.

In 2002, in April, “Smash!!” shoots his first video for the song “Should have loved you more”, and already in August of the same year the group “Smash!!” takes first place at the competition of young performers “New Wave” in Jurmala.

2002 In addition to success on stage, Vlad, after graduating from school, entered the Russian State University for the Humanities at the Faculty of Law.

In 2003, the group's first album, called “Freeway,” was released. It is becoming popular far beyond Russia. The album reaches platinum status and goes through two reissues.

2004, December, the second and last album of the group is released, its name is “2nite”. After the release of the album, information appears that the duo has broken up. The reason was the departure of Sergei Lazarev from the team. Kirill Turichenko is invited to replace Lazarev, but he and Topalov did not work well together - Vlad remains the only soloist of the group “Smash!!”.

In 2005, the video “The Dream” was released with Topalov, the only soloist. This clip is very widely rotated on everyone music channels, its English version becomes Topalov’s first significant work as a future solo artist.

According to the terms of the contract with “Universal Music Russia”, the participants of “Smash!!” were supposed to release three albums. Before the band broke up, only two records were released, and since Lazarev refused to fulfill the terms of this agreement, Topalov himself had to record the third record. It was doubly hard for Vlad to work, because his father, Mikhail Topalov, also left Smash!!, transferring management of the group to the company Ego Works in 2005.

2006, Vlad Topalov stops performing as the lead singer of the group “Smash!!”. He closed this page of life for himself with the release of the group’s third album, “Evolution”. In March of the same year, he stated that all obligations to “Universal Music Russia” had been fulfilled and he was boldly starting new story his life under the name “Vlad Topalov”.

In 2006, Topalov signed a contract with the Gramophone Music company and began work on his new solo album, which would be released in the spring of the same year and would be called “Lone Star”. Topalov was helped in creating the album by Roman Bokarev and Mikhail Mshensky, the producers of “Ego Works”, as well as the musician Dominic Joker, with whom Topalov will continue to collaborate in the future.

In 2006, Topalov successfully defended his thesis

Vlad Topalov is a native Muscovite, which is now an exception in Russian show business. Vlad’s mother, Tatyana Anatolyevna, was a historian, and his father, Mikhail Genrikhovich, had his own business. Topalov Sr., in his field of activity, had some relation to the production center, which played an important role in Vlad’s career in the future. In addition to Topalov Jr., the family also raised a girl, Alina. My sister was three years younger than Vlad.

Music sounded constantly in the Topalovs' house - the head of the family, while still young, was interested in vocals and was even a member of several ensembles. The father's passion was passed on to the children. Vlad and Alina began attending creative clubs from an early age.

"Fidgets"

Even before school, Vlad began going to music school. At the age of five and a half, he had already learned to play the violin and became a member of the Fidgets ensemble, which made the boy famous. The entire biography of Vlad Topalov is permeated with music; he did not have an ordinary childhood and personal life. As a child, he spent almost all his free time playing the instrument and performing. In the photo below, Vlad is among his peers, members of the Fidgets ensemble.

Topalo Jr. soon became the soloist of the “Fidget” choir. Then he sang a duet with the now famous TV presenter Maria Malinovskaya. Afterwards she will host the popular music TV show “Morning Star”.

“Fidgets” became famous not only in Russia, but throughout the world. Girls and boys, with excellent vocal abilities, toured countries such as Japan, Bulgaria, Italy, Norway and others. The team's collection of awards includes a lot of victories at international competitions. “Fidgets” “thundered” all over the world, and when the children began to grow up, they were waiting for new life, a new stage, new songs and tours, but separately.

Vlad made his debut in the ensemble “Fidgets”

Studying in the UK and parents' divorce

Vlad lived in England for about three years. His parents sent him and his sister to a distant country for education. It was a closed English college, where not everyone could get in. Mother and father dreamed that their children would receive a decent education and be able to provide for themselves. good life in the future.

Topalov returned home in 1997 and continued his studies at a special school with an emphasis on learning foreign languages. And in 2002 he entered the Russian State Humanitarian University. In 2006 he graduated successfully, becoming a qualified lawyer, like his father.

Topalov with his parents and sister

Soon Vlad had a half-sister named Anna. It so happened that Topalov’s parents stopped understanding each other and decided to separate. The most terrible stage in the biography of Vlad Topalov and his parents was precisely this period. The adults had to divide the children, thereby separating the brother and sister. Vlad stayed to live with his father, and Alina was taken by her mother.

After some time, Topalov’s mother remarried and gave birth to another girl, whom her new parents named Anna. And so it appeared young musician stepsister.

Music career

On the anniversary of "Fidget", when the ensemble turned ten years old, Vlad's father decided to release a disc with best songs son. The album also includes compositions sung together with. The guys got along in earnest, they liked working together, and the songs sounded new. Vlad and Sergey recorded a real hit in French, which thundered throughout the world and impressed everyone. Of course, this is “Belle” from the musical “Notre-Dame de Paris”.

Vlad Topalov and Sergey Lazarev

The recording of this hit gave birth to new group, called "Smash!!" Almost immediately, the young duo signed a very lucrative contract with the French recording studio Universal Music Group. And a year after signing the contract, the duo won a competition among young performers called “New Wave”.

Now it’s the turn of hits - the guys start recording their albums. The albums instantly became platinum, and all compositions of Topalov and Lazarev occupied only the first lines of various charts and charts. The guys became popular not only in Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. They collected top fans all over the world.

What Topalov and Lazarev did not share

Unfortunately, in 2004, after the release of the last joint disc, the team broke up. More precisely, Sergei Lazarev left the group and began a solo career. They tried to find another soloist to replace Sergei, but Topalov categorically did not want to sing with anyone else. So the group “Smash!!” ceased to exist.

Soloists of the group “Smash!!”

For a long time, journalists tried to find the cause of the conflict between two once bosom friends. None of the group members wanted to comment on this scandal, but it was obvious that Lazarev went on an independent voyage for a reason.

Rumor has it that the guys could not share the place of the group leader. Both handsome men, with an incredible voice, with numerous armies of fans, argued about who was the leader. This led to the breakup of the duo.

Solo career of Topalov Jr.

After the band broke up, music did not disappear from the biography of Vlad Topalov. He continued to fill his personal life with new projects and soon began a solo career. In the photo below, Vlad is filming a video for his solo project.

In his first album, Vlad recorded hits that he performed together with Lazarev. Topalov sang them alone no worse than in the company of his ex best friend. Plus, the soloist added several of his new songs to the album, which pleased his fans. He showed that he can still sing alone and does it beautifully. Next are several more successful albums, some of them entirely in English.

Vlad Topalov pursued a solo career

Vlad sings mainly about love - this suits his role perfectly. But music is not Topalov’s only occupation. The singer takes part in theatrical productions and does it successfully. Roles in the theater and then in cinema also bring the soloist not only good income, but also complete satisfaction. Topalov starred in several comedies. It is worth noting that after performing his roles, there was a significant increase in the army of fans of the newly-minted actor.

Vlad Topalov and Yulia from Tatu

Many will remember this beautiful couple: Vlad Topalov and Yulia Volkova from the Tatu group. The guys had known each other since childhood; they were both members of the Fidgets ensemble. Soon, just friendship grew into something more. The biography of Vlad Topalov includes several novels, but the relationship with Volkova was the most stormy. His personal life was seething: the couple broke off their relationship, and then they got back together. In the photo below, Vlad and Yulia are happy; at that moment they were still in a relationship.

Vlad Topalov and Yulia Volkova

One day, having had a strong quarrel with Vlad, the Tatu soloist decided to leave her beloved man. She just left for someone else. Yulia had a child from a new man, but soon she returned to Topalov again. And he accepted it. The whole world watched these violent passions.

The newlyweds were already preparing for the wedding, they were planning families and common children. But still, due to the incompatibility of characters and constant quarrels, the guys came to a final break. This time the decision was made not on emotions, but with a “fresh” head.

Union with the director and wedding

One more romantic story Vlada Topalova almost grew into a marriage union. In the personal life of the soloist, a certain Olga Rudenko appeared, who worked as the director of the performer’s friend, Sergei Lazarev. The girl is smart, beautiful (see photo), whose biography is similar to Vlad’s life. But something went wrong and the macaw separated.

The singer together with Ksenia Danilina

In 2015, the long-awaited event finally happened: Topalov got married. The musician’s chosen one was Ksenia Danilina. Ksenia is in no way connected with music, unlike Vlad’s previous companions. Danilova is the owner of a luxury fashion studio, which brings her multimillion-dollar profits.

In the photo below you can see how visually Vlad Topalov and Ksenia Danilina suit each other. The guys look like a happy couple. Fans of the singer hoped that this change in his personal life would soon bring the soloist a long-awaited child, and that there would be positive changes and new songs in his biography, because now he has such a muse!

But in 2017, the marriage broke up. Topalov himself told reporters why he divorced Ksenia. It turned out that this was a banal inability to find a compromise. There were often conflicts in the couple; husband and wife did not want to give in to each other.

The guys managed to maintain a warm relationship and remained friends. And despite the third unsuccessful attempt to start a family and improve his personal life, Vlad Topalov does not lose hope. He is sure that he will find the one with whom he will share both joy and sorrow. Well, meanwhile, fans follow the biography of their favorite singer, continue to post his photos on social networks, buy albums, go to concerts.

In 2002, Topalov became a student at the Russian State University for the Humanities, choosing the Faculty of Law, which he successfully graduated in 2006.

Musical career of Vlad Topalov

In the early 2000s, Vlad Topalov, together with another member of the Fidgets ensemble, Sergei Lazarev, began working on a joint project. One of the first songs of the young duo was the song “Belle” from the famous French musical Notre Dame de Paris. This composition was performed at Topalov Sr.’s birthday and presented to him as a joint gift from two young people.

The performance was a success and the eminent Russian producer really liked it. Soon, Topalov Sr. asked his friend, musician Vadim Andreev, to make several new arrangements for this composition. Thus, the song soon appeared in rotation on Russian radio stations.

In 2001, a young team called “Smash!!” expected new success: a division of the famous American company “Universal Music Russia” became interested in their work and soon offered the duo a full-fledged contract. As part of the signed agreement, work began on the band's debut album and debut video.

In 2002, the group’s first video, “Should have loved you more,” appeared on all Russian music channels. The composition was a great success and very soon two new singles from the group appeared on radio stations - “Prayer” and “Freeway”. The team collaborated with the best producers in Russia, Europe and the USA, and therefore its popularity grew at a rapid pace. Another component of success for the young duo was the victory at the “New Wave” competition (Latvia). From now on, about the group “Smash!!” started talking all over Russia.

In the spring of 2003, the band's first studio album, called “Freeway,” was released. This record became popular in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Belarus and even in some countries of Southeast Asia. The album soon received platinum status and even went through two new reissues. In the winter of 2004, the group “Smash!!” presented to the world her second album “2nite”

However, along with the appearance of the new record, rumors began to appear in the press about a conflict between Vlad Topalov and Sergei Lazarev. The result of this was the departure of the latter from the popular group. Some time later, reports began to appear that Ukrainian singer Kirill Turichenko would take Sergei’s place in the group. However, after several joint performances, Vlad Topalov decided to start a solo career.

Drug addiction of Vlad Topalov

In February 2007, in the program “Man and the Law”, and then in May 2008, in an interview with the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets”, Vlad Topalov admitted that from January 2004, when he was 18 years old, for 4 years he took drugs and is struggling with addiction. This caused health problems, for example, in the winter of 2008, his kidney failed, quarrels with his father and an indirect reason for the collapse of the group “Smash!!”.

The singer said that once, having arrived from the USA, he fell ill with a severe sore throat - he had a weak immune system. “I couldn’t get to my feet, I lay at my mother’s house for two days. I woke up on Monday and realized that I couldn’t speak, and on Friday there was a concert and the musicians were rehearsing with all their might. I was taken to the clinic, and, naturally, before doing anything, the doctors take a blood test. For a long time they could not believe that these were my tests; they thought that they had messed up something. I was then told that I had the heart of a forty-year-old man, an enlarged liver and a catastrophe with the blood, immunity, to put it mildly, was zero, the bone marrow at that time did not produce the required number of cells to regenerate them. I was forced to tell the doctors everything, but this was not a drug treatment clinic. I ended up continuing to sniff. And I was treated in this clinic, and the doctors said that there was no point in this and that I had to “decide for myself.” And a year ago I was forced to admit that I simply could not do anything about it,” he said. At the same time, the singer realized that he was a drug addict. Then the body could not stand it - due to drug abuse, the kidney began to fail.

He even thought about suicide. “I spent two weeks in the hospital on painkillers... I once thought about “going out of the window”, and I realized that only for the first week after this they would worry, and then they would say that he was weak and could not overcome himself. For me it's the same as losing. And I would like to be worthy and strong man, first of all, to yourself. The concept of what kind of person you are does not depend on what people think about you. When you stand in front of a mirror, you can answer all your questions. Walking around and saying that I am strong and can do anything is weakness. I realized that I don’t want to be weak, this is a test that God sent me, and either I will get through it or I won’t. Therefore, now I am under the supervision of specialists, the main course of treatment has already been completed, and now I am restoring my body. This is a very difficult process, psychologically difficult,” the artist shared.

Topalov's solo career

After the band broke up, music did not disappear from the biography of Vlad Topalov. He continued to fill his personal life with new projects and soon began a solo career. In the photo below, Vlad is filming a video for his solo project. In his first album, Vlad recorded hits that he performed together with Lazarev. It is worth noting that after performing his roles, there was a significant increase in the army of fans of the newly-minted actor.

Personal life

The personal life of Vlad Topalov is a separate page of his biography, and his many fans were especially worried about the question: when will the famous womanizer get a legal wife?

Vlad had affairs of varying degrees of intensity with Yulia Volkova from Tatu, Anastasia Stotskaya, model Lopyreva, but he officially got married only in 2015.

Vlad’s wife was Ksenia Danilina, a girl from a very wealthy family who creates luxury clothing brands. It seemed like this was a happy page in my personal life, turning point biographies, because in the photo Vlad Topalov and his bride looked absolutely happy, and the media started talking about the fact that the couple was seriously planning to have children.

Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be far from the rosy ideal. Already in 2017, the couple announced their divorce. Their problems began back in 2016, they even broke up for a while, then reunited again, but now the final point in the relationship has been set.

Topalov himself spoke rather vaguely about the reasons for the separation: they were in a hurry, they were not made for each other, they could not cope with everyday problems.

There were also rumors that the whole point was that there were problems conceiving children, and Vlad really wanted a son. It is known that the divorce took place peacefully, without scandals or reproaches, and Vlad and Ksenia continue to maintain friendly relations.

Vlad Topalov now

Contrary to rumors, Vlad Topalov is not going to finish musical career. He released two new singles – “Parallel” and “Got Me”, which did not go unnoticed.

The year 2018 was marked by a meeting of old “sworn friends”: Vlad Topalov and Sergey Lazarev, finally, after many years of conflict, decided to forget old grievances and met like old friends.

Appeared on Instagram joint photos graphs and mutual confessions of eternal friendship. The fans' hearts sparked with hope: what if the star singers would appear on stage together again?

As for changes in personal life, the information received is contradictory. So it became known that Vlad began a new relationship with Regina Todorenko, the former host of the TV show “Heads and Tails.”

On her Instagram, Regina posted photos together and accompanied them with comments that she was in love and lost her head. The couple met at the play “Put Your Wife in a Pawn Shop,” in which they play the main roles. It is still difficult to say whether this relationship will last.

Vlad’s life is a good illustration of the thesis that the life of a star is never easy and unambiguous. An early bright rise can be replaced by a decline in popularity and many years of silence, the enthusiasm of fans is combined with the malicious criticism of envious people, numerous love affairs do not bring happiness. And here, as in boxing, the ability to take a punch is important. Vlad Topalov survived, did not break, and remained on stage. He managed to overcome addictions. There is hope that there will also be new songs and new roles in films, TV series and on the theater stage.
