Remote controls

The security alarm kit includes two key fobs: main and auxiliary. The main key fob resembles a small transmitter with three control buttons and a liquid crystal display screen. The keychain has feedback. The key fob indicator displays the current state of the security system using intuitive pictograms. The security system is programmed from the key fob. In addition to the main purpose, the key fob displays the current time and some additional parameters: temperature in the car, engine temperature. The key fob is powered by a 1.5-volt AAA battery; depending on the intensity of use, it lasts from six months to 9 months.

The second key fob has no feedback. The key fob buttons have the same set of functions as the main one. There is an LED indication of its operation. The key fob does not support an encoding algorithm, so it is advisable to use the main option. The key fob is powered by a 3-volt battery; depending on the intensity of use, it lasts for 9-12 months. If the car is used by several people, it is advisable to purchase additional key fobs with feedback.

Buttons on the key fob

The purpose of the buttons on the key fobs is the same:

  • button 1 - switching on the security mode, locking the locks, controlling the shock sensor by level;
  • button 2 - disables the security mode, unlocks the locks, interrupts alarms. It is also responsible for turning off the “anti-robbery” mode and controlling an additional sensor;
  • button 3 - turning on the “temperature indication” mode and identifying the alarm status, activating an additional channel, activating cursor selection of functions.

Signaling benefits

Among automobile security systems with feedback, the presented device takes its rightful place. The alarm system provides the ability to connect additional devices (tilt sensors, pressure sensors, microwave, ultrasonic), which significantly expands the scope of its application. The device circuit is built according to the relay type. This allows you to freely install the alarm anywhere in the car, which increases security. In this case, blocking is carried out using the Starline DRRTM radio relay.

The main block contains 7 control relays. They control the starter, ignition, electric door locks, sound and light, and other equipment. Another feature of the alarm is the ability to control it using GSM channels in their coverage area. That is, it is possible to control the alarm from a regular cell phone. In order to use this feature, you must additionally install the Starline Messenger GSM module. The module has three inputs for controlling additional equipment. When sensors or alarms are triggered, an SMS or call is sent to your phone.


The alarm system is designed for installation on a car with an on-board voltage of 12 V. It is preferable to install the central unit in an inaccessible place. Usually placed under dashboard, shorter cable lengths and appropriate routing.

Antenna with transmitter module on windshield. This will ensure maximum range of the transmitters. The cabin temperature meter is located in the same module, so the location of the module should be taken into account. It is advisable to avoid heating from a car heater, direct sunlight and other heat sources.

It is also recommended that the shock sensor be located inside the car; periodic access to it is necessary for timely adjustment. The sensor must be rigidly fixed to the housing. The engine temperature sensor is attached to the engine body or adjacent metal parts. It is important for automatic engine starting to have the correct temperature value.

The Valet service button should be installed in a hidden but accessible place. It may be needed in emergency situations, so it is advisable not to place it in places where there is no easy access. When taking the car to a service station for repairs, it is recommended to turn on the Valet mode. In this case, some of the alarm functions are disabled, so there is no need to hand over the security system key fobs to repairmen.
